The Polk County Planning Board rejected an Applicants Text Amendment to allow short term vacation rentals in RE-5 by a 5-2 vote on Thursday, June 11.  The meeting was attended by 90 plus HC residents, the majority whom spoke against any changes to RE-5 zoning.
